ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Alex Murray Construction Ltd is based in Stornoway and for 22 years has been providing a comprehensive and professional building service throughout Lewis and Harris. A full time maternity cover position has become available for an experienced Accounts Assistant. Salary £22,000 per annum. This role requires someone who is proficient in accounting with prior experience of working within a fast paced office, preferably in an all-round role. Applicants must have previous experience of working with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll or similar accounting packages, as well as possessing strong Excel and Word skills. You must be someone who is highly organised with excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner, be willing to learn and have the ability to work accurately, to deadlines and with great attention to detail. The key tasks of the role are: Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger Processing, Payroll Processing, Job Costing Analysis & Reporting, Various Admin Duties, Assisting with Telephone & Customer Service.
