We provide a mobile dedicated team of craftsmen exclusively providing a responsive maintenance service for the public/private sectors.
This service is available to anyone in Lewis and Harris twenty four hours a day, seven days a week (subject to previous agreement).
If you require immediate assistance for any small or large problem, our dedicated team are waiting to spring into action.

AMC is the parent company of Murray Kit Homes, the only timber frame manufacturers in the Western Isles.

We currently employ four joiners who work full time in our well-equipped workshop; all are experienced in this field and able to attend to your most unique needs.
Their work involves doors, stairs, pulpits and many other timber products, standard and non-standard.
We currently employ four plumbers and carry out all of our own plumbing and drainage work.
Our plumbers, which are trained to the highest standards, are also available for specific contracts.
With Building Regulations constantly changing to adapt to new Government policies aimed at sustainability, it is no wonder that starting a new construction project is seen to be a daunting task.
We employ staff who deal with the Planning Department, Building Control, the Local Council and other bodies on a daily basis, and are therefore very much up to date with all new regulations and codes of practice.
If you are building a house or are working on any other project, our team of professionals are able to provide friendly advice – financial and technical – while also surveying your site/property and helping you produce AutoCAD drawings to represent your plans.
This service will walk the client through their project with minimum trouble and is available either as part of a wider contract with AMC, or independent from the operational department altogether as consultants.
